Julie Hogarth-Williams is a passionate advocate for reducing social isolation among older people, dedicating her life’s work to fostering meaningful connections and enhancing well-being for senior communities. As the founder and CEO of The SeniorsChannel, Julie has pioneered innovative technology and purpose-built content that empowers older people to feel valued, connected, and engaged through virtual communities and interactive programs.

Julie’s commitment to positive ageing stems from her extensive experience as a professional seniors’ entertainer, where she performed over 600 concerts for aged care residents and seniors’ groups, witnessing the power of music to engage and bring moments of pure joy to her audience. In contrast, Julie also witnessed the devastating social isolation, loneliness and depression experienced by older people. 

These experiences fueled her mission to tackle the loneliness epidemic head on and create vibrant, inclusive communities where older people can thrive, feel connected, and experience genuine belonging.
