Daniel Gannon is an experienced CEO and Director with more than a decade of experience leading organisations and teams across politics, the property industry, seniors’ living, and broader business community.
As a public policy expert and reform enthusiast, Daniel blends his strong knowledge of government and systems with proven commercial and communication skills demonstrated by the growth in the organisations he has led – like the Retirement Living Council.
As national Executive Director of the Retirement Living Council – Australia’s peak body for owners and operators of retirement and seniors’ living communities – he works with all state, territory and federal governments on increasing the supply of better housing that is leading to better health outcomes for older Australians.
Daniel was inducted as a Global Ageing Influencer at the 2025 World Ageing Festival, an award that applauds global thought leaders, innovators and frontrunners in seniors’ living, aged care, and healthcare.
