Michael Bonner

Michael Bonner is a health and aged care leader focused on the practical implementation of reform across Australia’s care system. At Choice Aged Care, he has led the rollout and operationalisation of the Aged Care Onsite Pharmacist (ACOP) measure, working closely with providers, pharmacists, and stakeholders to translate policy into consistent, high quality service delivery on the ground. His work has centred on building scalable workforce models, establishing governance and reporting frameworks, and embedding medication safety practices into daily care.

Michael is also a driving force behind the Wellness Partners Foundation, where he is advancing models that extend the impact of ACOP into underserved and high risk populations. Known for his systems thinking and hands on leadership, he brings a clear focus on execution, accountability, and outcomes. He is committed to strengthening the role of pharmacists in aged care and ensuring reforms deliver meaningful, lasting improvements for older Australians.
